The Department of Materials Science and Engineering and The University of Texas at Dallas have established the Materials Science Core Facilities (MSE Core Facilities).
The MSE Core Facilities include characterization techniques like:
- High Resolution TEM
- Focused Ion Beam,
- X-ray Diffraction (XRD),
- X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
Additionally, the MSE Core Facilities houses the Materials and Surface Technology Resource (MaSTeR) which offers a variety of surface characterization and materials processing capabilities.
Access to the MSE Core Facilities is available for University and external users.
Research Staff maintain the equipment, train users, and provides support for services.
